Sherrills Ford Optimist Club is a volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on bringing equitable sports opportunities to Sherrills Ford/Catawba County youth since 1975.  All donations are tax-deductible. We welcome all donations and a receipt can be provided to you upon request. 

Your valued sponsorship and support allows us to improve and maintain our park & facilities, improve our programs, provide scholarships and financial aid for those in need, as well as keep the cost of sports participation attainable for all our community members. Contributions big and small provide priceless opportunities for our local youth through meaningful activities and positive life experience that will last a lifetime. Sherrills Ford Optimist is the place for youth sports in Eastern Catawba County. We have been serving the youth and families of our area since 1975. Our park is operated 100% through volunteers, and we rely on fundraisers and sponsorships to keep our park operating for the youth in our community.

More than 1,200 youth participate in our athletic activities each year.
