SFO Scholarships


Sherrills Ford Optimist offers two college scholarships annually to deserving high school seniors. The requirements are:


  • Accepted to and planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college after high school ends in 2026
  • Graduating senior of Bandys High School
  • Have a “B” average (3.000 or higher)
  • Participation in extracurricular activities and community service. Extra consideration is provided for SFO activities and volunteering.
  • Exhibit overall high standards (moral character, positive attitude, initiative)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Participated in at least 3 seasons of SFO sports

You can download a copy of the most recent scholarship application below or pick one up at the Bandys High School guidance  office. Once you complete the form, return it to the Bandys guidance office.
