Registration includes a jersey and socks. Parents need to provide black athletic shorts, shin guards and soccer cleats (no toe cleat).

Soccer holds a summer camp every year typically in July. It is a great time to practice soccer skills, have fun and eat popcicles.

Soccer Equipment

Soccer Ball Sizes

Academy, U6, and U8 use size 3 balls

U10 uses size 4 balls

U13 uses size 5 balls

Soccer Cleats or Boots

To help avoid knee injuries, soccer cleats have no toe cleat that may catch in the turf while kicking.

Comparison of soccer and football cleat bottoms: one has no toe spike, the other does.

Shin Guards

Shin guards are required safety gear for all ages and must be worn during practices and games. During practices they may be worn over the sock, but during games they must be work under the socks.
There are a couple of styles and it is a matter of personal choice what your child wears. Some styles have an ankle wrap to hold the guard in place. Other styles have a strap around the calf. Most older players prefer a simple slip in guard that slides in and is held in place by the sock.

Our youngest athletes are introduced to the fundamentals of soccer in a fun, safe environment. They use a size 3 ball.

Academy: 3 to 4.5 (born between 3/1 and 8/31 of the current year)
